Racer compensation

Racesplitter support the application of compensation factors in adaptive and handicap sports.

When the racer compensation setting is enabled on a race, RaceSplitter allows you to assign a compensation factor between 1% and 100% on each participant, and will then apply that compensation factor automatically when displaying timing results. We have a video available that shows racer compensation this in action.

For example, if a racer as han 80% compensation factor is assigned, and records a time of 60 minutes on the race, this time will be automatically adjusted to 48 minutes.

This feature allows RaceSplitter to be used in adaptive and handicap races. In fact, for this reason its the official timing app of the Paralympics.
